Somdej Toh Promrangsri the most famous sacred monk of Rattanakosin era made the amulet in the ancient time.The first of Somdej Wat Rakang was made in 1860 and continue to made this mold in various occasions. Somdej Toh made his Phra Somdej by mixing the various types of Material composite such as : Shell lime , Phong Vises (holy powder, ittijay, eaynisinghay), assorted flowers from shine, rice remains after his consumption, lotus, ashes from incense burns, honey, tang oil, etc. There were 5 different type of Phra Somdej amulets created, but all were in rectangular forms.
